In the village of Aravell, you can find Cal Gol, one of the oldest family seats.

We have renovated the threshing floor area as it was in the past and have incorporated a more modern garden, barbecues, and on the threshing floor itself, some surprising tables: for table tennis and table football. At the back, an old feeding trough where you will be able to discover the ancient tools used for farming work in the past. A room has been set to exhibit the tools for eating and preparing foods, to preserve them and cook them; and right next to it, a small cellar to taste some of the typical high mountain liquors.

We have renovated one of the barns:

On the ground floor, where there used to be a stable, there are now different atmospheres. A common room with a reading area, now turned into a small library: information from the surrounds, the legends of the high mountain villages, it is also a space for listening to traditional Catalan music, and now, with Wi-Fi Internet connexion.

The stairs lead us to the first floor, where we can access the doors of the two apartments: “Gol” and “Gual” (old name of Cal Gol). Both apartments are divided in two floors: the first one for the dining room and the living room with its fireplace, a toilet and a kitchen; on the second floor, the bedrooms and the bathroom.
