We are only 800m from the village of Esterri d'Àneu, in the heart of the Pyrenees that cover the county of El Pallars Sobirà. In our valley you can do all sort of activities and adventure sports, from rafting, rushing down the white waters of the river La Noguera Pallaresa, to a relaxing horse ride along the beautiful leafy paths o simply contemplate nature and enjoy the peace of this area. We are only 13 km away from Aigüestortes i Llac de Sant Maurici National Park, with more than 200 lakes. You may also explore the Romanesque Art represented in all of our churches and hermitages. Also, visit the museums and other spots of cultural interest such as the Ecomuseum of the Valleys of Àneu, the Sawmill in Àreu, or more modern ones as the Butterfly Museum of Catalonia or the Interpretation Centre of Tavascan, with an underground guided visit built inside the mountains. Finally, the must activity: practising the wonderful white winter sport of skiing, 18 km from the Bonaigua-Baqueira resort.
